"I just wanted to thank you so much for planning and coordinating most of the local details in Little Rock...so many people asked me, "How did you think of this?   How did you do this?  I honestly told them it was...Arkansas Destinations who did it..so I'm very glad to have found you."

 African American History Tour

The Little Rock area is home to several attractions that tell the unique story of African Americans.  From the Historic Arkansas Museum, where slave history is interpreted by Living History actors, to the Central High Museum/National Historic Site, groups have enjoyed touring these special sites for years!

Our guides that specialize in this area of history can also take you to EMOBA - the Museum of Black Arkansans, and the future site of the Mosaic Templars Building, which will be a museum of African American history in Arkansas.

The Central High Museum depicts the 1957 integration crisis, and will be moving across the street to a new visitors center in September, 2007 for the 50th Anniversary of the Central High Crisis.
